About me

My name is Dominika and I’m from Slovakia.

My biggest passion is traveling and photography. I like writing, too, so I decided to share my experiences and travel stories as well as tips and tricks which make all the planning and traveling easier.

Why am I different from other tourists?

I want to know more. Always. I love history and discovering new cultures and places. I have millions of questions and I’m looking for the answers, before my traveling and also on the spot.

I am happy if I can plan my traveling on my own, I barely use guided tours (except free walking tours), I am the boss of my own time and enjoy the local atmosphere. I visit many places and walk tens of kilometers in one day. Maybe that is the reason why I travel alone most of the time, many people just cannot keep up, but honestly, I do not mind.

I spend days or weeks in some destinations but in some of them only 24 hours. That’s why I know how to enjoy them to the fullest, how to find the most interesting places, eat great local food, and take pictures of all the beauty around me.
